Don't forget that today is "Stamp Out Hunger Day" so make sure you leave a bag of non-perishable goodies for your mail person to pick up today! I have mine ready do you? All donations will be given to local food pantries to help those in our community! I use to work for the Salvation Army while in college and ran their food pantry and during this time of year our food donations were so low that we would have to order food from a local store to supplement our supply in order to be able to provide for those in need, so every bit does help!

Walgreens & Target Trips 5/7

So I was in Wentzville tonight without the kiddos so I took advantage of the situation and made a quick trip to Walgreens and Target to pick up a few items that I was not able to get earlier in the week! I think I did really well at Walgreens. I got all the items pictured above for $4.25 which included tax, plus I received a $5 reward, so after the rewards I made a $.25 profit, not to bad for $19.96 worth of product!

At Target tonight I got all the items listed for only $10.97. Retail Price was $23.07, so that is a 52% savings. I think I was in the mood to buy a few goodies for me tonight :-)

I have to share with you a funny blooper about the Dove Shampoo. A few weeks ago when Walgreens had the Shampoo & Conditioner Free after rewards a stocked up and purchased 8 of them. A few days latter I got in the shower and realized that I had two conditioners, when I checked my stockpile I realized that I had bought all conditioner! Oops. Hence the purchase of some shampoo today :-)

Printable Coupons

Coupons.com just came out with some new printable coupons and still have some of my favorites available! I always recommend printing coupons you want as soon as you see them because they can go very quickly. The manufacturer will put a coupon out and will put a cap on how many can be printed. So if it is a poplar high value coupon it will go quickly! So here are some of my favorites:

My Kroger Trip!

Do you remember the other day I mentioned that you should always be on the lookout for coupons, even in the strangest places! Well today I used 6 of my Oral B coupons from the dentist to make a $3.00 profit. The coupons were for $2.00 off any Oral B Cross Action Toothbrush, and Kroger had them for $1.50!

I was able to get everything pictured here for $9.17, before coupons my total was $40.72, that's a 77% savings!
