Coupons when you least expect it!
So I had a dentist appointment today for my 3 year old daughter Sophia and myself. This was the second time she has had her teeth cleaned if you can call it that. Today we only got one tooth polished before she put the kabash on the hygienist. Well maybe next time:-) During my check up I found out that I need to have two fillings replaced and actually have a small crack in one of my teeth! That could explain the sensitivity I have been having on that side.

The reason I bring this up is while we were in the waiting room I was looking through the pamphlets that they had available and found the mother load of Reach, Crest, and Oral B coupons. The Reach coupons were the best, $2 off any reach tooth brush and $2 off reach floss and they are good until November! They had to of had over 200 of the reach brochures, but I used my restraint and only took 5! I am going to save these for the next Walgreen's Promotion and I see a lot of free toothbrush's and floss in my future!

So next time you are at the Doctors, Dentist, Optometrist keep and eye out for coupons and samples! Even if you do not see them you can always ask. At my pediatricians office I would always ask for formula samples and coupons. They even some times have samples of Tylenol other non-prescription medicines.

So I thought I would share with you today my saving @ Target! In the Market for a New Gas Grill

As some of you know I do 99.9% of the cooking and grilling in my home. On special occasions Joe may break out the Weber and take over the duties. I love the convenience of a gas grill and our current one is on it's last leg. Now through 4/30 Walmart is offering a $50 gift card on gas grill purchases. My local Walmart had the Brinkmann for $198. So $148 is a really good deal! They also had some priced aroung $115. I think it is time to buy Momma a new grill! Tip of the day for Walgreens: When you get a Register Reward you can not use this reward to purchase the same item, because if you do you will not get an additional reward. When a reward prints it will say what manufacture gave this to you on the reward. For instance if you were to buy the skintimate shaving gel you would receive a $3 reward from Energizer, so I would use that reward to buy the Stayfree Maxi pads, which I then would receive a $3 reward from McNeil, I would then use the Stayfree reward to purchase the Schick Razors and then receive a $3 reward from Energizer, which then I might spend on diapers or maybe that personal trimmer which has a $5 reward. You can not use the Schick or the Skintimate rewards on one another because they are the same manufacture (Energizer/Schick). I hope all this make sense!

Walgreens Trip 4/25/10

So today is a great day, or should I say a great week at Walgreens! I was able to get everything pictured for $17.66 which was a 80% savings! My total before coupons was $88.16. Mind you I did have to do 8 different transactions to get this, but my Walgreens is so friendly and helpful. The trick is to check out in Cosmetics or the photo area. I always ask first if I can make multiple transactions and I always try to go when the store is not very busy. Being that I am from a small town I have gotten to know the nice people at my Walgreens and they love seeing us get the great deals. What they do not like is when someone comes in and clears the shelves. If I were to do that I do not think they would be very helpful the next time I came in!
