Walmart Clearance Food Finds!

As many of you are aware the Warrenton Walmart is currently under renovation. Right now in the Grocery area in the back of the store next to the chips they have two isles with clearanced and misplaced food items. It is kinda of a mess but defiantly worth taking a look at! Not all the items are on clearence so look for the red tags. These are just some of the Red Tag Clearance Items I found today!

"I was at WM today and noticed a really good deal. Sorry I didn’t think to get the details for you, but on the end cap by the meat side, near the back, is an endcap display of Lysol, Finish, Woolite, and don’t know what else. They are really big packages marked at $3, with a $2 coupon sticker on them. I bought one bag of Finish to give to a friend. It says they are powerball tabs, 40 count, 28.3 oz, orange scent."

Sidewalk Sale @ the Warrenton Walmart

While Shopping at Walmart in Warrenton I discovered a small "sidewalk" sale. They had children's cloths for $1-$3, Woman's Jeans for $5, Sleep Pants for $3 and a assortment of shoes for around $5.

Also I wanted to make note that it has been reported on some blogs that Walmart had Pineapples for $1.50, well the Warrenton Walmart still had theirs for $2.69, you can use the $.50/1 coupon from here to get them for $2.19, not the best deal. Hopefully  they will do a price cut soon on these.

My Walmart Trip!

So I was pretty happy with my shopping trip to Walmart today. One way that I can save a lot of money by doing my shopping @ Walmart is to price match any item that is on my shopping list with another store. This week price matching alone saved me $37.41. I saved an additional $53.59 using coupons. My total for all pictured above was $146.78, my OOP after coupons and price matching was $55.83, a 62% savings.

In the Market for a New Gas Grill

As some of you know I do 99.9% of the cooking and grilling in my home. On special occasions Joe may break out the Weber and take over the duties. I love the convenience of a gas grill and our current one is on it's last leg. Now through 4/30 Walmart is offering a $50 gift card on gas grill purchases. My local Walmart had the Brinkmann for $198. So $148 is a really good deal! They also had some priced aroung $115. I think it is time to buy Momma a new grill! I am going to use my gift card for grocery's, I know I bet you were hoping it was for something exciting!
