Where to Get Coupons

So I am often asked "Sonia where do you get all your awesome coupons?" Well here you go:

www.Afullcup.com You do need to sign up for this, but it is free and is an awesome coupon database, if you want to know if a coupon is available this is a great place to look. It will tell you where the coupon can be found and if it is printable it will provide a link. Any time I am working on my grocery list and I have an item that I do not have a coupon for I search here first.

News Paper (Sunday News Paper will usually have several inserts except on major holiday's)

Magazines (All You, Parents, Parenting, Woman's Day, Family Circle, Weight Watchers, Shape, Cosmopolitan & Marie Claire to name a few. All but All You I have been able to get for free. I will list postings when a free magazine offer is available)

http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13306&nid=10&zid=iq37 -This site offers great printable coupons that can vary by region, so search multiple zip codes for even more options. Usually you can only print two coupons unless they reset which usually happens on the first of every month.

www.redplum.com -This is the online version of the newspaper insert. Just like coupons.com you usually can only print a coupon two times. This also resets on the first of the month.

www.smartsource.com This is the online version of the newspaper insert. Just like coupons.com you usually can only print a coupon two times. This also resets on the first of the month.

Coupon Printing Tips

When you print coupons from a site like coupons.com, redplum.com or smartsource.com, the best way to conserve paper is to select coupons in increments of 3. Coupons generally print three to a page, so selecting three or six or nine will maximize your paper and lesson the chance of an ad printing with the coupon.  When you print one coupon at a time, often you’ll get a big ad at the bottom of the page. One trick that I do is if I am printing one coupon I will watch the printer and as soon as the coupon is done I will hit the cancel button on my printer to avoid wasting it on ads. If the coupon printed at the top of the paper I will then turn the paper around reinsert it into the printer and print on the unused  side. You do have to be careful when you do this so that you do not ruin both coupons if you inserted the paper into the wrong side, or not cancel the print job before the ad prints.

Print in Black and White. Most all stores except coupons printed in black and white. This will save you a lot on cost of ink. To print in all black and white go to control panel, select your printer, find “printing preferences”, then  "color or graphics” and then select gray scale and then black & white. This setting will change all you print jobs on your computer. I have Windows Vista and a HP Printer and for some reason my coupon.com and bricks coupons will still print the image in color, however I just leave my color cartridge empty and the coupons still come out fine. All my other coupons do print in black and white.

Most Coupons such as Bricks Coupons can be printed twice. After you print the coupon once, click your browser button  3 X to go back to the screen where you see the coupon. E-Incentives coupons can usually be printed a 2nd time buy hitting your refresh button. Smartsource usually requires that you go back to the initial page where you printed your coupon from.
