Date night, not frugal, but much needed!

So tonight Joe and I had a last minute date night and let's just say the only frugal thing about it was that we had my parents babysit for free and we split a fajita dinner! The movies have gotten so expensive, and to top it off I did not plan ahead and we decided to buy a bag of peanut butter cups at the show, which were $4.05! Ouch, sometimes saving money is not as important as spending time with your honey :-) DO you have any money saving tips for date night with your special someone? If so just leave a comment!
